New President Bio:

Chip Dykes was born in Philadelphia PA. After high school he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He served 20 years in the USMC and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer 3. He served in billets as an administrative chief, Drill Instructor, Water Survival Instructor, Battery Gunnery Sergeant and Personnel Officer. He is a veteran of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He is a life member of the 1st Marine Division Association and Veterans of Foreign Wars. After retirement in 2002, Chip went to work in the mortgage banking industry, settling in Oceanside Ca. In 2006 he assumed the duties as Military Relations Manager for Pioneer Services, a Division of MidCountry Bank. In October 2007 he assumed the duties as Branch Manager for the Oceanside office of Pioneer Services. He is currently a member of the Military Affairs Committee for the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce as well as the Veterans Advisory Council for San Diego County. Prior to election as President, Tri-City Council, he served on the Board of Directors as Military Relations Director.

Chip is married to the former Zaida Llanos from Berkeley, CA. They have three children, Anthony 23, Butch 17 and Shannon 15.
