President Bio:

Charles “Chuck” Baumbach was born in Rockford, Illinois. He moved to California in 1955 and graduated from Arcadia High School in Arcadia, California, located east of Pasadena. He studied Landscape Architecture at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, California. In 1962, Chuck joined the United States Air Force. He was assigned to S.A.C 15th A.F. and served at Mountain Home A.F. Base in Idaho and Anderson A.F. Base in Guam until 1966. Chuck worked for Monrovia Nursery Company located in Azusa, California for 34 years as Road Salesman for Mid-West and lived in Texas in the Dallas, Fort Worth Metroplex.

Chuck has been married to Pat for 41 years. They have three children and two grandchildren.  Chuck retired in 2000 and moved to Carlsbad, California. Today, he volunteers as a Docent on the U.S. Midway and at the San Diego Aerospace Museum restoring old aircraft engines. He also volunteers as the Landscape Chairman at Sea Point Tennis Club, where he resides. He is a Lifetime Member of U.S. Navy League and past President Tri-City Council Navy League 2005-2007.
